Careers Programme
At Hockerill Anglo-European College, we believe outstanding careers education empowers every student to make ambitious, informed decisions about their future. From Year 7 to Year 13, our carefully planned careers programme helps students develop self-awareness, explore opportunities and gain the knowledge, skills and experiences needed to succeed in an ever-changing world.
Working in partnership with employers, universities, apprenticeship providers and our alumni community, students benefit from meaningful encounters, personalised careers guidance, workplace experiences and a curriculum that makes clear connections between learning and future careers. Whether students aspire to higher education, apprenticeships, employment or international opportunities, we are committed to ensuring every young person leaves Hockerill confident, well prepared and ready to thrive.

Our Vision for Careers Education
We are committed to continually developing an exceptional careers programme that prepares every student for success in education, employment and life. Our careers provision is aligned with the Gatsby Benchmarks, the CDI Career Development Framework and the Department for Education's statutory guidance. Through continuous evaluation, employer partnerships and student feedback, we ensure our programme evolves to meet the needs of our students and the changing world of work.
