Boarding Fees

As a state boarding school, there are no tuition fees. Fees are payable only for boarding and these fees are not subject to VAT.

Reservation and Administration Fees

• A Boarding reservation fee of £6,000 for weekly and full boarding (£3,000 for Flexi Boarding) must be received after a student has been accepted and before a place can be confirmed. This Fee is held while the student remains at Hockerill and will be refunded subject to boarding terms and conditions when they leave Hockerill. However it will be forfeit if they do not start at Hockerill following acceptance of a place.
• A non-refundable one off Administration Fee of £300 for boarders must be received after a student has been accepted and before a place can be confirmed. This covers the administration work associated with boarding for the whole period that the student remains at Hockerill.
• From 2027/28 a one-off agency fee will apply where a student joins the School through an educational agency. This will be charged only once, in the student's first year, at 10% of the applicable annual boarding fee. It is not an ongoing annual charge and therefore does not apply to existing students.
