CCF Section Competition

On Saturday 9 May, cadets from the Hockerill Combined Cadet Force (CCF) took part in a section competition focused on three core areas: command tasks and leadership, contact drills and patrolling, and a military knowledge test.

The competition provided a fantastic opportunity to see our cadets working together and demonstrating essential skills such as teamwork, communication, and leadership. We were also fortunate to enjoy beautiful weather throughout the day, which added to the positive atmosphere of the event.

The overall winning section was One Section, led by LCpl Morgan Butler, whose leadership and teamwork stood out throughout the competition. All cadets worked extremely hard, and experiences such as these are not only exciting but also invaluable in helping young people develop confidence, discipline, resilience, and a strong sense of achievement.

We are extremely proud of all our cadets, whose enthusiasm, conduct, and determination continue to make the College shine.
