Welcoming Our Belgian Exchange Partners from Liège

This week we had the pleasure of hosting two groups from our partner school, Collège Ste Véronique in Liège, Belgium.

On Tuesday 21st April, we welcomed a group of 35 students and their teachers, who took part in bespoke lessons in Drama, History and Maths. A huge thank you to Mrs Marsh, Miss Bell, Mr Jackson, Mr Salmon, Mr Appleford and Mr Hankin; all 35 students and teachers thoroughly enjoyed our College, its staff and the lessons. One student said, "Can we please have the same lessons in Liège?"

From Saturday 18th until earlier today, 26 Hockerill students welcomed their exchange partners into their homes. From trips to London, Cambridge and Colchester to a full day in College on Wednesday, our Belgian visitors were fully immersed in the Hockerill community, and there were already a few tears when it was time to say goodbye this morning. We are looking forward to seeing them again in a couple of weeks, this time in Liège!
