Year 13 Paris Trip
At the start of the half-term break, Year 13 students enjoyed an unforgettable five-day trip to Paris, accompanied by Mmes Boyce and Seguin from the French Department. The group explored many of the city’s most iconic sights, including a scenic river cruise, the Eiffel Tower by night, and visits to Les Halles and the magnificent Notre-Dame Cathedral. They wandered through the Latin Quarter and the Île Saint-Louis, where they savoured a traditional Parisian dinner, and admired the splendour of the Opéra Garnier.
Students also discovered the charm of Montmartre and the Sacré-Cœur, catching a glimpse of the famous Moulin Rouge before exploring the Louvre, the Champs-Élysées, and the Arc de Triomphe. A day trip to Versailles provided the opportunity to browse the vibrant fresh food market and tour the breathtaking Palace of Versailles.
It was a truly enriching and memorable cultural experience for everyone involved.
