Two Clean Sweeps of Top Grade 9s for Hockerill Students
Students at Hockerill Anglo-European College are celebrating an excellent set of GCSE results in 2025. Two students, Elise Ching and Hanako Ward, achieved the remarkable feat of a clean sweep of Grade 9s across all 10 of their subjects. 87% achieved Grade 4 or above in both English and Maths. Alongside headline GCSE success, Hockerill students also excelled in the government’s EBacc measure, which tracks performance across English, Maths, Science, Languages and Humanities. Hockerill’s EBacc Average Point Score was 6.06, compared with a national figure of 4.07 in 2024 — the equivalent of students achieving more than two grades higher across these key academic subjects
