Are you considering residential boarding for your child?
Join us for our Boarding Information Evening to explore life in Hockerill’s boarding houses, meet our boarders and staff, and discover what makes our boarding community truly unique.
You will have the chance to hear from our Principal and Director of Boarding, followed by a Q&A session.
Prospective students will also be able to tour our boarding houses and spend time with current boarders to gain an authentic insight into boarding life at Hockerill.
The evening is aimed at children who are currently in Year 6 or Year 5 and their parents.

We are pleased to announce a significant update to our boarding provision: from this September, Weekly Boarding will be available from just three nights per week, offering families greater flexibility than ever before.
This new arrangement is designed to support parents balancing work, travel or other commitments, while giving students full access to the College’s academic and co-curricular opportunities during the week.
Weekly boarders benefit from a structured routine, time for prep and enrichment, and a strong sense of community — while still enjoying regular time at home.
Residential Boarding Options at Hockerill
- Weekly Boarding – Boarders live on campus during the school week (a minimum of three nights) and return home at weekends.
- Full Boarding – Boarders live on campus throughout the school term and return home during the holidays.
