The hard work has paid off for five Hockerill students who have received offers to study at Oxford and Cambridge from September 2016.

Carolin Bernhard has been offered a conditional place at Oxford (Balliol) to read Chinese whilst Hannah Brown has received a conditional offer from Cambridge (Churchill) to read English.  Unconditional offers for Cambridge have been made to Ella Hurley (Girton) to read Human Social and Political Sciences and Freya Somerville (Peterhouse) to read History. Pat Metcalfe-Jones received an unconditional offer from Oxford (Christ Church) to read French & Italian.

Richard Markham, Principal of Hockerill Anglo-European College, said “I am absolutely delighted that Oxford and Cambridge have recognised the merits or our students and the International Baccalaureate Diploma in making offers to five of our students.  I was also pleased that we received such positive feedback from the Colleges.”
