Thursday Thoughts

Thursday Thought is provided by Mr Kaufman each week and gives students and staff a quote or quotes to reflect upon and discuss. The object is not necessarily to agree with the quote but to engage the community in discussion about various topics. It can also provide a chance to find humour in things and, at other times, pathos.

So this morning, as we approach the end of the school year, Mr Kaufman felt a little reflection may be helpful, "In these trying times, as a few seem to thrive and many find it more difficult, a spotlight is shone on what we are trying to achieve. For educators and students alike, remote learning and the virtual world are not satisfying but all that we've got at the moment. We do know that we will all be changed by this experience. The first three quotes essentially share a similar sentiment between them and the fourth points us forward. Hopefully there is at least something for everyone."
