National Careers Week 2018

Posted on: 28th February 2018

During National Careers Week there will be an opportunity for students in years 8-13 to gain an insight into a broad range of careers. The seminars will take place after school from 4-5pm.  This year we have decided to use the future of jobs report from the World Economic Forum to identify the top ten skills required in the workplace of 2020.  It is striking to see how many of these skills explicitly map onto the International Baccalaureate.  Employers recognise the benefits of the interdisciplinary, holistic education that the IB offers students.  Therefore we have decided to highlight the links between the IB programme and the workplace of 2020 during our Future Fit CW18.
